We offer Sculptra® in our office. We are much more interested in regenerative and restorative treatments rather than just ‘filling’ in deficits. The combination of Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF), Hyper Dilute Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHa) and Sculptra® (PLLA) help generate elastin and collagen that is lost as we age. If we recommend a bio-stimulating agent, it's because we know that either filler will not look natural on you, or you are still at a point where regenerating will yield longer-lasting and natural results. You just have to be a bit more patient...
Where is Sculptra®
Aesthetic Injected?
Sculptra® can be highly effective and requires approximately one vial per decade of life, in the face. It is delivered via cannula in a safe, quick and easy method in two vial increments every 4-6 weeks for 2 or 3 treatments. Each vial costs approximately $800.
Sculptra® Aesthetic is indicated for use in people with healthy immune systems as a single regimen for the correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles where the cross-hatching technique is appropriate.
We also use it to build up collagen and tissue in areas of laxity, wrinkles and dimples such as arms, knees, buttocks, thighs, chest and neck.
Optimal areas
-
Pre-Auricular Wrinkles (in front of ears)
-
Nasolabial Folds (smile lines)
-
Marionette Lines (lip to chin smile lines)
-
Chin Wrinkles
-
Submalar Wrinkles (facial deficits in apples of cheeks)
-
Abdomen (to tighten and regenerate skin)
-
Butt lift (to enhance texture and shape)
Sculptra® Aesthetic is an injectable implant containing microparticles of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA)
-
PLLA helps replace the lost collagen in the skin
-
PLLA helps stimulate gradual restoration of the collagen framework
-
PLLA is eventually broken down by the body
Replacement and restoration of the collagen framework help to create a subtle, refined correction of wrinkles.
